Kalkman Home Care is run by Kalkman Construction, a veteran-owned, third-generation builder in Whitefish. We build decks, additions, kitchens, baths, and new homes across the Flathead Valley.
So when something turns up on a visit, you aren't calling a stranger. You're talking to the builder who has already been through your house.

Before we start
What happens if you find a problem?
We contact you right away with photos and what we're seeing. Urgent issues, like an active leak or loss of heat, are handled according to the emergency plan we agree on at the start.
Do I have to use Kalkman Construction for repairs?
No. Repairs are always quoted separately, and nothing is done without your approval. You're free to use any contractor you like. Members get priority scheduling if they choose us.
How do you handle keys and alarm codes?
Access is set up in writing before the first visit: who holds keys, how alarm codes are handled, and who we call in an emergency.
Is a home check the same as a home inspection?
No. Visits are visual walk-throughs of accessible areas, not a technical inspection, security service, or guarantee against damage. The point is to catch visible problems early and keep you informed.
